Last summer, Minh participated in a voluntary project named "Sunshine for Children" organized by his district youth union. The project aimed to support disadvantaged and orphaned children in remote villages of Son La province.

During the two-week project, Minh and his team had a variety of meaningful tasks. They tutored the children in basic English and Maths every morning. In the afternoon, they organized fun outdoor games, taught them folk dances, and showed them how to wash their hands properly with soap to prevent common diseases. In addition, the volunteers repaired old wooden desks and repainted the classrooms with bright, cheerful colours. They also handed over five hundred storybooks and lots of warm clothes donated by generous people in Hanoi.

Minh found the experience truly memorable. Although the living conditions were quite tough with no modern facilities, he never felt tired. Minh shared that seeing bright smiles on the children's faces gave him incredible joy and motivation. He also became more mature and learned how to cooperate well in a team. Minh hopes he can take part in more community activities in the future.
